Sarah Hartley is now running face to face dance classes in two locations in Gloucestershire (term-time only):

Mondays – Abbey Fields Community Centre, Back Lane, Winchcombe GL54 5QH 2pm – 3.30pm

Tuesdays – Priors Park Community Church, Queens Rd, Tewkesbury GL20 5EY 11am – 12.30pm

Run by Community Dance Lead Sarah Hartley, this class is a supported session for those living with Parkinson’s. Dancing can bring a whole host of benefits, improving balance, co-ordination, posture and strength whilst also helping to relieve stress and anxiety. It helps us reconnect with our bodies and helps us feel more upbeat and positive, generating a feeling of contentment – something those living with Parkinson’s may feel they have lost.

The class runs weekly (apart from school holidays) and is an opportunity to have fun at a friendly, uplifting, sociable class. No experience is necessary and you can join in at whatever level you can, going at whatever pace suits you.

Why not come along for a free taster and meet Sarah and the group? A friend or carer can come along too (and join in!) for free – although a donation in the refreshments tin is much appreciated.
