Inclusion statement

We want everyone to feel welcome, safe and able to take part. We encourage all dancers interested in joining in to participate at whatever level they can – some of the class is seated and support can be used if required at other times. We will endeavour to adapt the space, activity or equipment as required to ensure it is appropriate to all attendees. See individual classes for prices. You are also invited to bring a family member, friend or carer along with you – and they are encouraged to dance too! Please contact Sarah Hartley on 01242 603207 or email dancebesocial@gmail.com to discuss any specific requirements.

All venues are chosen carefully, with fully accessible premises, ample parking and usually with facilities to allow us to provide refreshments after the class. This also gives dancers the opportunity to socialise and chat with others going through the same experience.
Classes are run by Community Dance Artist Sarah Hartley who has a BA Hons in Dance & Drama together with specific Dance with Parkinson’s training. She is also a qualified first aider and has completed extra courses in Covid and Health & Safety.
