Our autumn term Adult Community Learning courses will be a blend

of face-to-face and virtual learning, starting the week commencing 22 November 2021.

Gloucestershire course programme

Tuesdays

Ceramics – Create simple, uncomplicated seasonal items for yourself to brighten up your home or as gifts for family and friends.

Time: 5.30pm – 7.30pm (23 November – 20 December 2021

and then 11 January 2022 – 15 February 2022). Location: National Star at Ullenwood

Wednesdays

Felt-making / Glass fusing

Create effective, unique seasonal items out of glass and felt to brighten up your home or as gifts for family and friends.

Time: 9.45am – 12.15pm (24 November – 21 December 2021

and then 12 January – 16 February 2022). Location: National Star at Ullenwood

Fit and healthy gym session

Get fit and active to maintain your physical and mental wellbeing supported by fitness instructor Russ, a specialist in working with people with disabilities. You’ll be supported every step of the way to achieve your fitness goals, in a safe and welcoming environment

Time: (Session 1) 10.30am – 11.30am or (Session 2) 11.45am – 12.45pm (24 November – 21 December 2021

and then 12 January – 16 February 2022).

Location: Gym at National Star at Ullenwood

Fridays

Cooking at home

Learner friendly step-by-step recipes to help prepare meals for lunch or supper.

Time: 10am – 12.30pm (Friday 26 November – 24 December 2021

and then 14 January 2022 to 18 February 2022). Location: Online, via Microsoft Teams

Courses are aimed at adults with disabilities, aged 19 or over, living in Gloucestershire.

To take part in a course you will need to be accompanied by a carer/support worker. A £30 registration fee is payable per course.
