Making Your Writing Sing!

This course is all about enjoying our writing and producing writing that is engaging and uplifting for others to read. We will be looking into many areas for our inspiration, from images which uplift us to song lyrics, comic poetry, descriptive writing and even a peek into advertising slogans! We will explore some basic writing devices and techniques to make our writing richer, such as figurative language as well as ways to structure and present our work. If you enjoy creating other kinds of art, such as collage, painting and textiles, you might want to use these areas as inspiration for your writing too.

This course is free for participants who are 19+ and face a disabling barrier.
