FAQs
Can I join the online community?
Yes! You’re Welcome Gloucestershire is an inclusive online community for people who live in or near to Gloucestershire or are visiting the area. It is also for organisation and individuals who run activities and anyone who wants to take part in them.
How does it work?
Anyone who wants to find out about activities in Gloucestershire can join the site for free. You will be able to browse a wide range of activities, choose ones that fit with your interests, and filter by any specific requirements you might have. If you wish, you can also connect with the community through our forum.
The site is open to any organisation based in Gloucestershire who wants to promote their events through this free, inclusive platform.
How is the site managed?
Our team of part-time staff ensure the events directory and list of things to do are kept up-to-date. They also monitor the forum on a regular basis; please use it responsibly. If you see a comment you feel is not following our guidelines you can report it. (see Our Guidelines for more information.)
Can I list my own event or thing to do?
Yes, you can list both.
Events are one-off activities, such as an annual festival or a one-off event run by a group.
Things to do are activities that take place regularly, such as a sports club that runs every Wednesday.
What can I do if I have a problem using the page or the forum?
If there is something you need help with, or you spot something that’s not right – maybe out of date information in a listing – please email us on:
hello@yourewelcomeglos.org and we will do our best to assist you or resolve the issue you have reported.
If you think a forum post or a comment on any thread is not following Our Guidelines you can report it by clicking ‘report comment’.
